HTS supports critical infrastructure in a demanding environment
The Riyas NGL – NGL Fractionation Project, led by Saudi Aramco, aims to increase natural gas liquids (NGL) processing capacity in one of Saudi Arabia’s most active industrial zones. This is a highly technical facility handling large volumes of pressurized gases, dense electrical systems, and subject to some of the strictest safety regulations in the industry.
Within this environment, HTS was selected to supply sealing systems for cable and pipe entries in critical parts of the project. Our role focused on securing access points that must remain sealed against fire, gas, water, and pressure — while still allowing for efficient installation and future maintenance.
A project with high technical demands
NGL fractionation involves flammable substances and fluctuating temperatures. The risk of leaks, explosions, or electrical faults requires that every vulnerable point is addressed from the design phase. Compliance is not enough — continuous, stable, and safe operation must be guaranteed.
HTS delivered solutions certified to international standards such as ATEX, IECEx, UL, and IP66/IP68, with a strong track record in industrial and energy applications.
HTS’s solution for the Riyas NGL project
HTS provided modular mechanical sealing systems made from materials resistant to corrosion, fire, and aging caused by temperature and pressure. These systems were installed in control rooms, cable trenches, and technical equipment areas.
One key advantage was the system’s ability to adapt to project-specific configurations without structural redesign or work delays. The modular system also allowed technical teams to make future modifications quickly and without compromising the seal.
Throughout the project, HTS delivered more than just the system: we provided technical advice, design reviews, enclosure compatibility checks, and on-site support. This hands-on approach ensured smooth installation and high client satisfaction.
